Bulb Planting Guide

Thanks to everyone for ordering Spring bulbs from us this year! Here is a quick guide to planiting

Tulips

  • Plant about 10cm deep or three times the hieght of bulb.

  • Give bulbs about 10cm spacing

  • Be sure to plant in a well drained area as bulbs may rot if kept under water too long.

  • Tip: We love to plant pots with a single variety of tulip, it makes an impressive display and can be moved when the blooms fade.

  • Reblooming: If you qwould like your tulips to rebloom the next season, be sure to cut off seed heads when the flowers fade, this concetrates energy back into the bulb. Blooms will be smaller than the first year if growing for repeated years

Hyacinth

  • Give bulbs about 15 cm spacing and plant 15 cm deep

  • Bulbs will rebloom for a few more seasons.

  • You can also force hyacinth indoors by planting in a pot on a sunny windowsill
